Four Components of Our Neuropathy Program

Hands being assessed

An Individual Assessment Comes First

The existing Abreu Family Chiropractic neuropathy program describes several approaches. Which, if any, are appropriate depends on your symptoms, diagnosis, health history, and medical care. Ask about current availability, evidence, risks, and costs before beginning.

Infrared Therapy and Electrical Stimulation

The practice’s published program includes infrared therapy and electrical stimulation. Ask Dr. Abreu to explain the proposed device, intended purpose, potential risks, and alternatives for your situation. No success rate or restoration of nerve function is promised.

Nutrition Guidance

Nutrition guidance is another part of the published program. Discuss recommendations with your health care team, including potential interactions involving supplements or medications.

Visits and Education

The program also describes in-office visits and education for self-care. This support does not replace care for an underlying medical condition or ongoing follow-up with your primary care clinician or specialist.
